Ed Ingalls, owner of TriLine Services in The Villages and a sponsor of our club, is a lifelong builder and mechanic.
He recently completed an eight-month restoration of his 1974 Pontiac Trans Am, logging about 1,400 hours of work to make the car uniquely his own.
After finishing the project in July, he drove the Trans Am more than 2,500 miles from Florida to major car shows in New York and Ohio, experiencing only a minor mechanical issue along the way.
A dedicated craftsman and inventor, Ingalls says restoring cars -- especially ones tied to his youth -- brings him joy, nostalgia and a creative outlet that keeps him busy and fulfilled.
