Devin McLeod took home the win in the Florida State Open Wheel Modified Championship Race on April 11 at Showtime Speedway. McLeod qualified on the pole and due to the inversion, started fifth. By Lap 36 of the 100-lapper, he had worked his way up to second. Devin took the lead on Lap 44 and held off challenges for several restarts, including one with five laps to go.
