We invite you to browse the pictures in the gallery. They should give you a better feel for the ground we've covered and the fun we've had. For those of you who participated in these events, they will jog your memories! Enjoy!

Touring Wayne's World

On Oct. 2, 2012 an estimated 45-50 club members traveled to Wayne Anderson Racing south of Wildwood for an open house tour and cookout.

The group had an opportunity to see a first-class operation, and to have a variety of chats and discussions with one of Florida’s current premier Late Model drivers. As an added bonus, club godfather Dick Anderson shared the hosting duties for the evening, adding his perspectives on many of the hot topics surrounding motorsports at all levels today.

In addition to having a chance to see Wayne’s racing fleet in varying stages of preparation, the group also had the opportunity to reflect on Wayne’s many accomplishments, and a quick scan of his trophy cases would tell you there were many!

Our hats are off to the Anderson family for their hospitality, and especially to Mary Anderson for her hard work in preparing the facility for the meeting.

Daytona Archives

Club members toured the Daytona International Speedway Archives on July 27, 2012 and saw an incredible display of posters, diecast collectibles, helmets, photographs, awards and even automobiles. They also stopped for a bite to eat at Racing's North Turn Beach Bar & Grille.

A Visit with Joey Gibbs

On June 16, 2012 our Contributions Committee, along with a contingent of 14 club members, visited Original Speedway Park in Fruitland Park to present a check for $500 to Joey Gibbs. The young racer was injured in a 2008 motocross accident, and since then has been going through extensive surgical procedures and rehabilitation work that has left his family with a substantial financial burden.
