Our next meeting is April 3 at Colony Cottage Recreation Center, going green at 7 p.m.

Our guest speaker is the legendary 100-year-old, Vicki Wood - once known as the "fastest woman on the beach" during her NASCAR racing days.

Wood earned the title after a 150.375 mph straight-line run down the sands of Daytona during NASCAR-sanctioned time trials in 1960.

Vicki was a NASCAR fixture in the late 1950s and early 1960s. She also holds the record for fastest laps turned by a woman at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
